Mais Lidas

A single ticket sold in the state of Virginia matched all six numbers drawn in the Mega Millions on Friday night, June 27. The drawing took place at the WSB-TV studios in Atlanta, Georgia.

The winning numbers were 18, 21, 29, 42, and 50, with the Mega Ball number 2. The jackpot was estimated at $348 million. The lump-sum cash option is $155.5 million.

This was the fourth Mega Millions jackpot awarded in 2025. The previous one was won in Ohio on April 18. It also marks the largest Mega Millions prize ever won in Virginia, surpassing nine previous jackpots, five of which were shared with other states.

The current $5 game format began on April 8. Since then, 20 drawings were held until this jackpot, during which over 4.8 million tickets won prizes across the U.S., totaling nearly $120 million in non-jackpot winnings.

During this jackpot run, eight second-tier prizes ranged from $2 million to $4 million, depending on the multiplier. In addition, 107 third-tier prizes between $20,000 and $100,000 were distributed across 31 states, also with multipliers applied (2X to 10X).

In Friday’s drawing alone, 299,888 tickets won prizes in various categories. Five tickets matched four white balls and the Mega Ball: one in California won $20,000 (2X multiplier); three in Indiana, Massachusetts, and Vermont won $30,000 (3X); and one in New Jersey won $40,000 (4X).

The next Mega Millions jackpot, scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, is set at $50 million, with a lump-sum cash option of $22.4 million.

Mega Millions drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. Tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 290,472,336.
